Team Project: Choose team topic based on instructions below, create and have topic approved - submit Team Project Proposal by June 19

Individual research: Once team topic is approved, each team member will conduct and gather data, posting & BLOGGING - you will have the time between June 19 and July 30 to gather, organize and analyze your data. You will do this on your web BLOG. Also, gather images/graphics illustrating your research.

Team Project
As we have been discussing in class, technology, specifically the Internet, is changing the way organizations communicate and do business.

Virtual collaboration, especially social media, is providing leaders with a new set of tools to enhance their communication. Each team will research and create a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation on how leaders can use social media.

For example, the team could look at how a leader uses social media to help a company through a major change. Teams should include at least three examples, best practices, of companies who are using social media. You are fully expected to provide a presentation that is visually appealing and content compelling, not a series of bullets using graphics. PresentationZen and Slideology will be reviewed in class and are resources included as an approach for dynamic presentations. 

Deliverables:

Team Project Proposal - due June 19

• Project statement
• Research Methodology planned
• Listing of each member and topic to be researched

Project Portfolio

• BLOG: each individual's research data
• Powerpoint/Keynote presentation - Presentation Zen style, created as a team
• Research presentation July 31
